Wedding Bouquets
Colours. Many brides go with vintages looks with traditional pastels
and neutral shades of white and cream for their bouquets. However,
recently, we have been getting a lot of request for bright vibrant colors
for bright and fun or even bold looks. A few of in-trend colours are
Turquoise, Coral, Black & White, Yellow, Fuchsia, Magenta, Deep
Red, Slate Grey, Purple & Latte.
Style and Flower Choices. Most of wedding bouquets are hand-tied,
where the flowers are gathered together and the stems are wrapped in
wide satin ribbon. Brides wanting more glamorous bouquets choose
beads, brooches, jewel pins, pearls, crystal/rhinestone picks, and
monogrammed ribbon to dress up wrapped stems and blooms. Your
flowers don't have to stand alone and can look remarkable when
accented with the right embellishments.
With the continuing popularity of the beach and garden themes,
brides wanting a more rustic and natural look to their bouquet add
elements such as shells/starfish, feathers, berries and pinecones.
The rose continues to be the most popular and elegant bouquet
flower. Lilies, peonies, hydrangeas, tulips, orchids, and other tropical
flowers represent the trendier choices. Vivid flower colors will
continue to grow in popularity.
Table Centrepieces
With unlimited varieties of colours and magnificent fragrances,
flowers are the most popular choice for wedding table centrepieces as
there is always a perfect flower to compliment any wedding theme,
style and season. Flower table arrangements should not only complete
the table décor, but also in sync with bridal bouquets and other flower
arrangements of the wedding.
Arrangement of flowers in tall glass vases is currently the most
popular choice for simple, elegant, to extravagant centerpiece. Flowers
can be combined with feathers, candles, lights, and even seashells
depending on the wedding theme and season.
Recently, table arrangements are becoming more dynamic. Instead of
having identical centerpieces on each table, some brides are using
different containers of varying heights. Small, short vessels featuring
a single bloom look excellent cascading down the center of a long
table, while tall glass vases with hidden stems are gorgeous on round
tables in a ballroom setting.
